PERSEIDS METEOR SHOWER (12th AUGUST): On August 12th Perseids Meteor Shower is going to happen and we will be able to witness this through our Naked Eyes. It produces up to 60 Meteors per hour at its peak.
MARS AND JUPITER CONJUNCTION (15th AUGUST): On August 15th Mars and Jupiter are going to be close to each other and we will be able to witness this conjunction through our Naked Eyes. You can also take a closer look of this conjunction through a Telescope. You can use 130x Magnification to view these Planets together.
FULL BLUE MOON (19th AUGUST): The moon will be on the opposite side of the earth from the sun, and its surface will be completely bright. This full moon was called the “Sturgeon Moon” by early Native Americans because the large sturgeons in the Great Lakes and other large lakes were more readily caught at this time of year.
MOON AND SATURN CONJUNCTION (20th AUGUST): On this day, Moon will be close to Planet Saturn and we will be able to witness this beautiful view from India. We can use a Telescope to get a view of both Moon and Planet Saturn. You just have to locate Moon and then slightly move your telescope to left, You’ll find Planet Saturn easily.
MOON, PLEIADES AND URANUS CONJUNCTION (25th AUGUST): On August 25th Moon, Pleiades and Uranus are going to be close to each other and we will be able to witness this conjunction through our Naked Eyes (Only Pleiades and Moon). You can also take a closer look of this conjunction and Planet Uranus through a Telescope.
LARGE PLANETARY ALIGNMENT (29th AUGUST): On this day, You’ll be able to witness a Large Planetary Alignment of Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn. You can view Saturn, Jupiter and Mars through naked eye but for Uranus and Neptune, You’ve to use a Telescope or Binoculars.
