Planets will align in a single line on 3rd June! Biggest Planet Parade of the Year!

Backyard astronomers, get ready to watch the Planet Parade, a celestial event where planets will be seen all over the sky. There will be one on June 3, and if you’re on the right side of the world then that night you should be able to see up to six planets.

Eagle-eyed viewers will see Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and Saturn with the naked eye. Those with high-powered binoculars or telescopes can look at Uranus near Mercury and Neptune near Saturn.

This is the second Planetary Alignment of the Year. The last one occurred during the solar eclipse in 2024. People in the path of a total solar eclipse were able to see Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Mars in the middle of the eclipse, well Mars and Saturn were difficult to spot.

HOW TO WATCH THIS PLANETARY ALIGNMENT?

You can spot some bright planets through the naked eye like Jupiter, Mars, and Saturn. Try to see this Planetary Parade in the Eastern Sky in the morning. You don’t need any equipment to spot these three planets but If you want to explore and see further, you’ve to buy a normal scope to spot these Planets.

WHAT EQUIPMENT WILL BE NEEDED TO WATCH PLANETS?

For those in ideal areas, four planets will be visible to the naked eye, including Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, and Mercury. You will need high-quality binoculars or telescopes to look at Neptune and Uranus. Because the sky will be brighter before dawn and they are far away from Earth, they are difficult to see and can only be seen with additional equipment.
